1 – Lusitania ship

1 – First in a series of writings of conspiracy theories that have been proven!

Lusitania ship

The sinking of this huge passenger liner caused such an outrage and media frenzy that the US were driven into the WWI events make this a huge conspiracy. In 2008 (I know, not that recent but I only just came across it myself!) a business man Gregg Bemis financed a dive to find the wreckage of the ship and what it held. It took him years of court battles to get the rights to explore the ship after buying it in 1967.

Munitions were found in the hold suggests that the Germans had been right all along in claiming the ship was carrying war materials and was a legitimate military target.

When it sunk (within 8 miles of the Irish coast by a German torpedo) the English said it was solely a passenger vessel, and accused the Germans of slaughtering civilians. It helped stir up anti-German anger, especially in the U.S., where 128 of the 1,198 victims came from.

However, it has now been proved that it had 4 million rounds of american .303’s on board which helped it sink so quickly.

More chillingly is that passengers of the ship were warned by the German Embassy not to travel on the liner as they were enemies.

Indeed, passengers reportedly received unsigned telegrams from people warning them of an attack on that very ship but none were listened to.

Sound familiar? Many horrifying events in the past have been forewarned by legitimate sources only to be ignored and forgotten or not proven. Here we have proof that even in 1915 before the dawn of the communication era, people still had access to the truth and tried to spread it. There is hope yet!
